Our Scenic Tails is a lifestyle dog blog dedicated to empowering dog owners to include their beloved pets wherever their adventures may take them.
We believe in a more dog-friendly world, because life is simply better when you’re together.
With that in mind, you’ll find articles on topics such as: pet-friendly activities and travel, dog-parent lifestyle tips and tricks, and product and gear recommendations that make living the good life with your dog a little easier.
We care deeply about giving all dogs the best possible quality of life. Because of this, we also aim to raise awareness about animal rescue and adoption opportunities and hope to eventually be in a position to donate a portion of our future proceeds to non-profit organizations who work to support this mission.

We owe all our love and inspiration to our beloved Scottish Terrier, Wallace. This project began because there were so many photos of Wallace that he needed his own Instagram account to share them. Never in a million years did we imagine his photos would win over the love and affection of thousands. He was the sweetest, wisest soul around and we miss him deeply.

June the Mini Australian Shepherd aka American Shepherd was born on September 20, 2019. She was an unexpected addition to our lives who has already brought an abundance joy and and new dog knowledge to our family. Her wild and crazy energy has brought us on so many new adventures. June is currently in charge of product testing; treats, toys, hotel beds, you name it.
Jamie Bartlett
Founder & “Dogmomager”
Jamie is a marketer and event planner by day, and an outdoorsy, animal-loving creative at heart. She took up photography as a hobby a couple years ago and quickly became obsessed with taking pictures of her furry best pals and their adventures. Jamie has dabbled in other types of photography including families, boudoir, and elopements, but there is just something about pet photography that has stolen her heart. We owe so much to our pets for the endless amounts of joy they add to our lives, and she hopes her photos bring a little bit of joy to the world too.
Greg Bartlett
Co-Founder & COO
Greg is one of the most hilarious people you will ever meet, and he’s always up for the next adventure. This is a good thing because Jamie is always coming up with them. Having worked a desk job for the past 20 years, building a website and launching a blog is quite the adventure itself for Greg. In his spare time, Greg loves to play golf, watch football (the Oakland Raiders to be specific), and hike, bike and play outdoors.
